Vista Price?

Ok so how much is Vista going to cost? I have money for a new graphics card now and I was wondering if I should get a dx9 card or wait for dx10. Can I play dx10 games with a dx10 card on windows xp? If vista will be like $300 screw it. If dx10 card are gonna be like $900 screw it. I just dont know if I should buy a card now or wait for dx10.

its a microsoft product so its always going to be free actually tho its a good question im kinda curious myself.. as for the dx10 cards i myself am waiting for them instead of getting one of the new cards now im sure it will be worth the wait and as always any good highend card will probably be 3-600 bucks so its really your call i cant confirm it but i herd since vista was taking so long that dx10 will be available for xp if this is true then yes you can play dx10 on xp

really easy and man do they look sweet i run everything at 1280x720 (widescreen format ) which is the same as 720p i have 2 options i can either use the vga input on the tv which i am using simply bought a vga cable from raido shack male to male or i can run from the dvi on the card to the hdmi on the tv which again radio shack had the cable for that also.. the only drawback is it doesnt really use the entire screen but the part it does use is pretty much like having a 40 inch moniter

I believe I read that vista wasn't supposed to be too much more expensive than XP PRO. I heard about $160 ish.
