Why did you have a 6800GT and GS?

Both of you guys go through cards fast. I went from a 9600xt to a 6800GS in a timespan of 2 years.

Here goes my attempt in the past year and a few months.

1)Orginal Voodoo4 32MB (PIII)(Actually the orginal card when I built it was a nVidia Riva TNT 16MB)(blasted with a 20G shotgun)
2)ATI 9250 64MB (PIII)(did not like ATI that much)(still have it on shelf)
3)nVidia MX440 64MB (PIII)(ahhh nVidia)(still have it in PIII)
4)nVidia GeForce FX5200 128MB(PIII & P4)(have it in kid's PIII)
5)nVidia GeForce FX5500 128MB (P4)(sold to friend)
6)nVidia GeForce 6600 256MB(P4)(returned for better deal on card below)
7)nVidia GeForce 6800 128MB(P4)(still in it w/all 16 pipes unlocked)
8)nVidia GeForce 6800GT 256MB(AMD 3500+)(sold to friend w/3500+)
9)nVidia GeForce 7800GT 256MB(AMD 3700+)(current card)
10)another 7800GT if I can find one for SLi

OK so I fudged number 10 but the rest are legit. I even left off the intigrated Intel GPU on the P4 motherboard. I wont count it because I never used it.

Ok over the last 10 years. lol.

ISA Slot card with 2 mb ram (don't know name)
PCI Hercules Terminator 4 mb of EDO ram. Had the S3 Virge chip in it. lol.
AGP nVidia TNT2 16 mb of ram
AGP ATI Radeon 7500 64 mb of ram
AGP ATI Radeon 9600SE 128 mb of ram (was not that bad of a card, could run doom3 at 800x600 and med settings. )
AGP Leadtek 6800GT 256mb of ram - Awesome card! (for agp)
PCI-E EVGA 7800GT 256mb of ram. - Really Awesome card! Still using it!

The 6800Gt and 7800Gt were bought within the last year. Like 8 months apart. lol. But I had to make the jump to PCI-E.
