Has anybody beat my record? - Page 4

^ Ahh the X800XL, I loved my X800XL, it served me well for only over a year but it ran anything and everything perfectly well, I just needed to be on top of the performance ladder for a while but that X800XL could do AA and HDR even better than this 7900GTX (And it could do them both at the same time too! )

i can beat you, with all the crappy ass cheap cards ive had (cept my last 2 are pretty awesome)

IN THE LAST 2 YEARS:
1- Number Nine S3 Unichrome PCI Graphics 2MB (yes, S3 made actual cards long ago, not just integrated)- in my PII that i got 2 yrs ago for $10 + $20 shipping for the entire computer
2- Matrox Millenium G400 4MB AGP $4 upgrade from #1
3- ATI Rage PRO 8MB AGP (yay i can change resolution now )
4- Voodoo 3 3000 16MB PCI (in my next computer, a PIII 733 MHz that some1 threw away, i played around with it and made it work- it was the RAM, which was wierd but oh well )
5- ATI Rage PRO 128 AGP 4X (WOW, 4X!!! w00t) 64MB DDR
6- nVidia MX-440 AGP was a damn good card for the price i got it at
7- ATI Radeon 9550 Pro I traded my MX440 for this, put a 120mm fan on it (yes 120mm) and OCed away
8- ATI Radeom 9600 XT got a great deal on this one, sold my 9550 and got it. i OCed a tom on this one
9- ATI Radeon 9700 PRO All-in-Wonder- AWESOME CARD, got it on eBay for $40 ($40!!!) taking a risk but well worth it. it was 325/600 OC to 400/800 with 128MB of 256-bit regular DDR and had TV and FM tuners...plus i could hook up a video game system (N64) and a VCR to it
10- ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256MB version traded 9700 AIW PRO for this. It was good, but i missed the TV and PVR......oh well
11- ATI Radeon X700 PRO (current)

pwn3d.....actually it's really sad, but oh well....

1:nvidia Vanta pci 16 mb- still around
2:ATI Radeon 7000 pci 64mb- so impressed i've never bought an ati since,
just updateing the drivers was akin to being questioned by the gestapo.
still have it for some wierd reason,,just a pack rat i guess.
3:evga nvidia tnt m64 agp x4 32mb,,got tossed out
4:-pny nvidia GeForce 4 MX 420 agp x4 64mb- still have it still works laying about someplace
5:-pny nvidia FX 5700ve agp x8 256mb- same comments as #4 above.
6:evga nvidia FX 6600gt agp x8 128mb -serving me quite well at the moment.

did not include mobo video chips, since they do not technicly count as "cards"
but here goes anyways
cirrus logic chip-512k video ram--"upgraded" eventualy to 1mb,,Packard Bell 486 75mhz mobo.
trident blade-8mb ram,,Compaq Mobo with an AMD K-6-III 550mhz.

that thunderstorm is getting closer,,comeing up out of indiana/illinoise and
over the lake,,gunna shut down and unplug now. pc's dont like lightning storms
and i've been hearing nonstop thunder for about 15minutes now.
