ok here's my new oc using clockgen......I havent checked stability but I know it is good because I tested it before.
my mobo is unable to clock above 300MHz so I set my mobo to 300 x8 and booted into windows. (see image 1)
then I loaded clockgen and pushed my fsb up 28MHz so it was sitting at 2.62GHz then applied and opened cpu-z (see image 2)
from memory, if you find a stable config in clockgen, when you boot into Windows it automatically gets loaded......so the only time your machine will run without the oc is during the boot......after that it should be all good.
note: check your RAM frequency before applying.....if you apply and your RAM all of a sudden becomes unstable your machine will reset.....however those settings will not get reloaded at boot.
(I only used the x8 multiplier to accentuate the increase through clockgen)
