I sold my crucial ballistex and now I need some proper ram. Any good ram that can do 280mhz 1:1?

the HZ are YMMV because ive gone though 4 sticks

set 1: ~262 MHz
set 2: ~262 MHz
set 3: 275 MHz
set 4: 290 MHz

i sent the first 2 back and kept the last 2, but not that many people are getting over 270 MHz with these. didnt your ballistix do the job? arent they great OCers? you can always try mushkin redlines.

Good God man, you must have had a bad set. I have a set and they work great. I got them up to 280 at 3-4-4-8-1T @ 2.8v. But since you already sold em, I suggest the GSkill HZ'a as they are exceptional.

If you can find someone selling GEiL ONE...scoop em up. They make 310+ at 2.5-4-3-6...now that's some tight timings at those speeds...take a look for em.
