Motherboard ASUS P5LP-LE help - Page 2

The PLL I use is ICS 954123. Don't bother trying to go over 3.1ghz because it doesn't seem to like that.

I run just under 3.1ghz stable here, no extra cooling or anything.

Its not a heat issue if your woundering, often the cpu's we get in oem computers are oem chips with caps. I have a caleron 1.8 that stops at 2ghz, and its running at like 26c.. but its an oem chip. I have a p5lp-le aswell with a pd920, i managed to get 3.1 also. thats with software oc tools. From what i have hear there is a mobo from asus 100% the same with a differnt mn. hp/compaq placed there model numbers on all there products. heh there dvd burners are lg-hitachi

Hey, I also have a P5LP-LE and i have been successful in overclocking my e6600 that came stock with it. However, I dont want to push it to much because i am not an expert and i dont wanna blow my ram or anything similar. The only challenge was finding your PLL. For my m7767c it was ICS 954141. No heat issues, just concerns on how far is safe for my other hardware.

Hi,
did you do it with a software or found a bios? I have HP a1767c with E4300 and should be updated with same or similar bios.

Thank you.
