new case for dell?

Thread Starter
I would like to know if theres a case that would fit my dem.2350?I'm stuck with the dell mainboard my parents are worried about me messing it up if I get a new one.Its o.k. for now I'm not planing to overclock.I know dell would never be the best thing to mod or upgrade but theres a way for everything.

I mod dells before you can upgrade to standard atx case no miniatx
If you do there one thing to note and that is that dell makes there own cpu holes on there motherboards

The back panel on this case matches the dell mainboard.

You take the back panel from your dell pc and put on the new case
So you don't run to problems

I heard you have to get a new heat sink mount that doesn't use screws.I just don't know if it'll work if I get the case.It would be a waste if it didn't.I'd like to get a new mainboard but still no.But,if it doesn't work I could get a mainboard later.

No you don't have to get a new heatsink mount you just have to drill hole in the case to match the heatsink mounting

Sorry, dell motherboards use custom mounting with only one screw and several slots and hooks. You can only use a dell motherboard in a dell case without extensive modding.

I would honestly tell you to get a new motherboard, and then save for a case later, then you can overclock that cpu
