Xcstacy Radeon 9600 FACTORY core clock problems...

Thread Starter
Well, ive had this card for a good while, but i don't know if i screwed it up or what, but when i use ATITool, or anything else for that matter, it finds artifacts at speeds LOWER than the factory core/memory clock settings. I don't know if theres anything i can do about that, i might need a new one, but it did that crap back when i first bought it too. If anyone has advice or ideas, PLEASE share. Thanks a lot!

It sounds like either the card has started to Overheat or its simply old and giving up mate..Do you always get artifacts when you look at the spinnig Cube in Ati tool ?

yea, it is old. When i start the auto overclocking thing, it will test for artifacts, find them at stock speed, and move down a mhz. I do need to buy a new one...I tried to overclock it too high one day and it pooped out on me (this was like 3 years ago) and it really hasn't been right since. That could be it...oh, whats RMA mean? it's not in the acronym sticky?
