You can run dual Prime95, but did you check to make sure you were doing a correct stress test with CPU affinity set correctly? One to each core. Also checked the torture test to Large FFT's? Checked for 100% CPU load under Task Manager?

How long can your run Prime95 w/o an error?

If everything is truely stable, you got one heck of a lottery win with your CPU to handle that much...esp on air.

What are your load temps?

Very cool. Not bad to use a x2 3800 to blow away the FX60

Don't be. For 2.8 GHz with 512kb cache per core and loose timings, that's about right. Most times below 28 seconds on AMDs are with BH-5 RAM, which can go very high speeds with insanely tight timings. (Like in my sig, DDR510 with 1.5-2-2-0). Super Pi is fairly dependent on RAM. Right now, you've gotten a $300 chip to blow away an FX60. Be happy.

Yeah, at 2.7 with a 180 diveder 2.5-3-3-6 I'm getting about 32.472.

did u put a different fan on that big typhoon? i can overvolt past 1.45V, would that be my motherboard? lol... maybe its my psu. its a crappy 580watt $30 thing...
my temps are high already i think im gonna switch to water cooling in less than a year...
im currently using an aerocool gt-1000, it seems to be good, but after i bought it i found out the gold (its gold plated, with copper in the middle) is a worse heat conductor than copper even though its better at conducting electricity. UGHH lol i want a reserator so bad... with an extra fan powered radiator of course.
btw i am jealous, so you know. 2.53ghz isn't enough for me. lol

Except the FX-60 has 1mb L2 x 2. 3800 has 512k L2 x 2
probably doesn't exactly blow it away.
