Got my G.Skill 2GBZX Today!

So I tossed in the sticks, went to this thread and copied the stats of my ram in that board over to my board. (mine is much more limited than the 32, but whatever applied I entered in) Worked 2-3-2-5 DDR400 absolutely no problem. Set my divider to DDR333 and went up to my overclock, still rock solid.

Now I just went 1:1 @ 246fsb, 3-4-4-8 1T, it has passed 1M super pi and passed Prime95, however I only ran it for 34 minutes. Generally, I've found that if I'm going to have problems with my setup, I'll fail Prime95 almost instantly. So the outlook is pretty darn good for these sticks, I'm REALLY satisfied with them, and I think I've found the G.Skill non-Samsung UCCC alternative for overclocking on the ASUS A8 family mobos!

More testing and updates as I progress! Americans can find this ram Here, and right now the $50 rebate is going on. Not bad at all for $133!

Update: 1:1 250fsb, 3-4-4-8 1T. Failed Prime95 after 5 minutes.

You should be able to do 250 @ 3-3-2-8
I think to need to set command rate from 1T to 2T
So, 3-3-2-8 2T and then you could probably go a bit past 250.
the gskill extreme will do 250@3-4-4-8. your sticks are better IMO.

My comp froze after a couple hours of CS: S today. I kicked it back down to stock timings. The tighter timings pretty much make up for the lack of bandwidth, no noticable difference in game smoothness anyway. I'll keep working it, probably just a small bios tweak to get it to be stable.
