if you reseat then yes you'll need fresh as5.

those temps are pretty nasty....I have my Vcore at 1.65V with a big typhoon and my idle temps are like 29-31 during the middle of the day.....my mobo is usually less than that by about 2C.

under load my cpu hits 38-41C

as for the boot CD...the file you've downloaded is a .rar file.....you'll need winrar to extract it.

right click on the file and select "extract files" then specify a folder to extract to.

then depending on what burning software you use you select to burn CD from .iso image, then browse to the folder you extracted to....there should be a hirens boot cd.iso or similar......select that and burn to CD.

then when you boot your machine make sure you insert the CD and also have the CD/DVD drive before your HDD in the boot sequence.

select "boot cd" from the menu and it should take you to another menu.

select "testing tools" then "memory testing tools" or similar......there are 3 mem testing tools there, memtest and 2 others.....select memtest and it should load into it and start running.
