Removing Super glue from acrylic res safely?

Thread Starter
i have an led that burned out in my res which was super glued onto there. The reservoir is an xspc dual bay dual loop res and due to the led constantly falling out isuper glued it in there. Later to find out the led has burned out and i can't take it out. Any suggestions?

Drill. Make sure it's exactly 5mm, and then just drill the old LED out. Be careful not to drill past where the old hole was either, wouldn't want a leak .

EDIT: 5mm is pretty close to 3/16"

There are not many things to try ...

- Drill it out
- Soak the super-glued area in acetone.
- Soak in very hot soapy water with a little white vinegar for 30mins then pick and peal a few layers off and repeat the process until it's all removed.
