Antec Dark Fleet Series Owners Club - Page 10

Thanks pwn. I appreciate it. Case looks good, Achilee. I need to figure out if its ok to change the fan inside my psu. With my watercooling, its the only thing really making noise.

I just built my new gaming rig with a dark fleet case. I would love to join the dark Fleet owners club.

I modded the case to have a triple rad in front. Going to add another 2x120 rad in the back for extra cooling. Waiting on parts to finish the build this week. Will upload finish pics later this week.

thanks

Whoa whoa whoa dv8 you are my new best friend. I will pay you if you tell me how you got that 360 up front. If you look at my pictures in this thread, I did with it outside the case in the back. I would love you forever if you can tell me what you did to make that fit and look so clean. Your lover, Pali! Lol

Edit: oh I didn't look closely enough at your pics. I only saw the one with the rad in the front. You tore out half the cage? How did u do that and was it hard? Im willing to do that if I have the right tools. Thanks!

ya i had to take out both sides of the hard drive mounts. It wasn't to hard to remove them. All i used was a 1/8" drill bit to remove the rivets and tin sheers to cut the bottom of the drive bay. Once those are out it was easy to mount the rad. I put back the right side of the hard drive mount, but i had to cut some of the corners off to make it fit.

I bought the new hard drive mount from amazon.

I will post detailed pics of them later after work.

Seriously get ribbon cables. More cleaner. You got a scary cable management. Nice set up though!

I have changed the mounting of my T-Virus res! I think it looks much better. I suspended it through the top using a Danger Den fillport. Let me know what you think!

You can easily just take out the drive bays? I didn't know you can easily do that. Man i might consider getting this case later. I love mine but i do hate un-screwing everything to clean my filters. BUT my case is all steel and very little plastic. I'm still skeptic of how good Dark Fleet can be after all those reviews. I'd still want one perhaps.

I wish i can see a picture comparison between 1200 and Dark Fleet so we can see it side by side difference in the same picture!

Simply sick dude. Hope you didn't use dye color for UV, hope it's just UV tubing biggrin.gif
post #99 of 229
Yeah I only use distilled. It is UV tubing. If you look carefully you can see a kill coil in the tube returning to the res. I use that along with 2 drops of pt nuke. Can never be too careful! smile.gif

did you have to take the whole cage out? or could you have left the back in and mod it in place?
