Use what ever the max is for your monitor. opps I didn't see that it is a LCD, usually 60mhz for Lcd's

a good refresh rate is 75hz, it is much easier on the eyes than 60hz

85hz is an even better rate, but you can damage your monitor if it doesn't support that high of a frequency, so be careful

My LCD monitor gives me the possibility to set the refresh rate at either 60 or 75 MHz.
Of course I picked 75 MHz although I didn't notice a difference between both resolutions.
Perhaps on the long run your eyes will start getting weary if you keep it at 60 MHz but I'd have to try it to assert it.

I run mine at 75hz, and i did notice a difference, from when it were at 60hz. If you got the manual, you could always see, if it says anything about max resolution and max supported refresh rate.
