DFI LP NF4 SLI-D mobo Q's?

Since I'm still getting to know my DFI SLi-D motherboard. I have some questions for those die-hard dfi fan lovers.

Which ram slot is better to use, the yellow or orange. I'm running dual channel with pc4000. They are warrentied to 3.1Volts.

Does it matter which PCI-Ex16 slot I put my 7800GT in?

How would you go about going SLi if you have a north bridge water block?

Thanks, Josh

You cant go SLI on the ultra D unless you do a mod, supposedly the yellow slots handle voltages better depending on the chips your ram has, personally I just stick to the orange.

oops, I didnt notice the sli part in your topic

If you have a northbridge water block, I would put the card in the top slot because youll get more room.

The first or closest slot to the CPU utilizes 16x, if you use the second slot it defaults to 8x.
On the slot color of RAM slots... not absolutely sure. The TCCD and Micron were Orange w 623-3, the Yellow with 623-2 for UTT and BH.
With your RAM you'll have to either figure it out or try a new BIOS then the 623-2 or 3 series.

manual says to use Slots 3 and 4 for memory with dual channel cause they are at 1T but use slots 1 and 2 for single channel cause they default to 2T...at least that's what the manual for my NEW Expert says...hope this helps...TY
