PC3200 is the industry standard. Just about all motherboards will support faster memory. I run PC4000 in my machine. The higher rated memory is great for overclocking. That way you can run your FSB/Memory speed at a 1:1 ratio for best performance. I say go for the PC4000 and overclock!

Agreed. DDR400 (PC3200) is the supported standard. You'll see on the website of the MoBo that it supports up to PC3200. However, Faster ram (the G.Skill set for example is great), allows you to overclock while keeping the RAM 1:1. With a FSB of 250MHz, the PC4000 G.Skill RAM is just up to spec

Good luck

Good luck oh btw, how's that Celeron for your friend coming along? After your comments on the Semptron, I posted a possible Celeron based rig for less than $300. Just wondering how that is going. Sorry for being off-topic here
