My Latest Build (sorry i couldn't come up with a better name) - Page 2

That really is a nice build and I am jealous of you having it, but to be honest, you could have done much better with $2750.

Anyways, very nice build. I'm sure it'll scream in games.

to tell you the truth, i didn't spend it all...

i still have 800 left, so i really only spent about 1900, and yes i could have done better, but i opted to have the stuff the day i got the money to do it, and bought stuff at microcenter and bestbuy for like 10 dollars more than it would have been on newegg.

im kinda starting to dislike newegg too, they have started to raise their prices, tigerdirect.com is cheaper on alot of parts than newegg is now, but the thing with tigerdirect is, when i received my 920, the boxes were destroyed, and the stock heatsink's pushpins were bent, it wouldn't sit on the processor so i went and got the H50 then upgraded to the H70, which was basically a waste of 110 dollars, it wasn't worth the 110 dollars since i already had the H50 and it did about the same.

Thanks for the explanation, I some basic understanding, but I'm not really scared to loose data, because I have those 2 320 GB Seagate swap drives a 4 GB and a 16 GB Sandisk Cruzer and a 1 TB Seagate external drive. That's why I just went ahead and put it in RAID 0, but if a fail proof system would be nice, so the next time I format I'll try it out.
