alright, thanks guys, why does my spd show my timmings as 3-5-5-10?

Ok, I put the cpu voltage at 1.5 its currently running at 2.75ghz under 35C and the ram is at 1.6, my htt at 4x but it doesn't seem to be stable because it crashes 3min into prime95, any suggestions?

i'm guessing 1.6 should be 2.6v for the RAM. I'd try upping it to 2.7and see if that helps stablility any. Also is the cpu multiple at 11x now and FSB at 250?? and if its at 250 than that ram's timming should be 3-4-4-8 2T

since you got low temps, you can afford to up cpu voltage, up it and run prime95 again, if not lower the fsb until its stable, then work from there

just ran prime95 and it said hardware error after 3min, but I ran day of defeat source for like 30min and it ran smooth. Is this a common error? I'm going to go play oblivion and see if its more stable.

This is most likely because DoD doesn't max out the systems resources like prime95 does. Gameing doesn't make the best stability test, but if thats all you ever do and its stable enough for that then if guess its fine.

I see, so what can I do to keep it stable for prime?

What are your settings at. Like FSB, cpu multiple, HT multiple, and voltage.
