My motherboard won't boot....what do I do?

Hi there, I was installing some program...and it froze. So I hit the power button and hold. Turned it off, after that I boot up but then...no beeps or anything...I reset the CMOS but then it wont been or anything. Is it the memory or CPU? I mean if it was then it would beeps right? Is it the mobo? Should I RMA it?

PSU or the motherboard itself... RAM, CPU, and Video should give beeps.

Does thee power indicator on the MoBo light up? If not, then I guess PSU, if it does light up, then the MoBo gets power from the PSU, and it is more likely the MoBo is suspect.

Good luck

IT does lights up and everything, there's just no screen. Fans running HDD is on VC is on just no screen and no beeps at all. Should I RMA the mobo?

Sounds like maybe its a damged or faulty Motherboard along the lines. Have you tried booting up with various different RAM sticks to see if its a bad Ram module giving you problems.

It works for few days...until I install something today and the motherboard just dies on me. I don't think it is the RAM because when I enter windows, it works fine...Just that it takes 5-7 minute just to start up the post...

Right now something that could fix this is Disconnect the computer from the power source hold down thon on button for 5 seconds also take your c-mos batter out and hold down the on button again for 5 seconds to be sure leave it a while then put c-mos battery back in and power back up.

Well I tried it but it still...doesn't work. I'm just not sure if it's the RAM or the mobo. I need for sure what's going on b4 I can RMA. Also I just wanna add that, b4 all this happens, one of my gigabit ethernet seems to be not working (it was b4). Now only the second one works, the other one are not found in the networking. And if I plug into the first one there's no light like it suppose to have.
