Also Kevin, every time it resumes from standby OC 4GHz @ 1.4625v, it crashes, unstable? However it can run Prime95 for over 6hrs with that OC setting. By the way other settings I should take account when OC like HT speed for example? I think I can recall you mentioning something bout setting the HT speed to 2000MHz via a message (I don't have any messages in my inbox now). Any other settings?

The standby issue sounds weird. Just disable standby, I never use that, I simply leave my computer running 24/7 all days of the year.

About the HT Frequency, make sure you keep it at 2000Mhz

And NB frequency, put it as high as your mobo can do, something between 2600 and 2800Mhz should do!

But you will probably need to bump the CPU-NB to something like 1.37v or even 1.4v maybe.

Hope I helped.

Am I seeing what I'm seeing--generic 1333 9-9-9 memory!?
What are you doing with top-of-the-line CPU and GPU and absolute bottom-of-the-line DDR3 memory? doesn't seem right to me. It could hinder your overclock, if you're wondering why I'm concerned.

Definitely not generic. His RAM is made by Team Group which is a lesser known brand but they still make some good stuff

I know that, actually I've heard they're a very good brand, but all 1333 9-9-9 1.5V memory counts as generic.

LOL, yeah I can't even turn on the pc for 24/7, it consumes like 250w idle and like 650w on load. Not only that is has so much leds, and fans. Kevin, LOL

@ xd_1771, if you're wondering why I chose the RAM, the pc was meant to be a budget rig, such as AMD 965, 5850, etc, but I progressively upgraded the parts, other than the RAM. But that will be the next upgrade and its hard to find a good high clock RAM, because it will probably require a heatsink and that would be hindered by my CPU cooler
