My Dog Ate it

Hey guys, I just finished building the computer you see in my specs. Everything seems to be running fine as of now, except for the temperature dial....it reads -5F...then it changes to "L".......now..when I was building it, I found my dog chewing on that wire one day....So I did what I could to fix it...obviously didnt work, this is just a green wire that has a gold tape on the end, usually attaches to whatever you want to keep track of the temperature...I just taped it to the case close to the hard drive....Where can I find a replacement? Or is something else going wrong? because its definetely not -5F in here.

EDIT: well, I emailed aspire customer service and sales...hopefully they can send me one soon.

Why would you care about the temperature of your case near your hard drive? Just wondering but that temp won't tell you much of anything, the important temps are the ones from inside your CPU and GPU cores and those can only be read by software programs that read those temp. sensors.

this is just a loose wire used for reading the overall case temperature....its just a little luxury provided by Aspire. The reason why I left it by the hard drive....its because it reduces the amount of wires and cables that go over the CPU, so I left it by the front of the case.
