Well Iam just trying to make it clear for myself and for others, i have seen around this forum so many sandys overclock insanly so is the optys. So please if u r an owner of opty post ur results with PICTURES if u r an owner of Sandy post ur results with pictures this shud be fun . Also please post some benchies so we can be able to see which one got good performance.

This pic was from last overclock, so i 4got to add cpu-z tonite when i come back from work ill re-overclock and take a pic of cpu-z of what i can get on this opty.

You can examine several on the stable overclock thread that is stickied at the top of this section. Once you find your stable overclock I encourage you to post yours on there as well.

Mine's not 100% stable yet, and I don't have it running on the internet, but I've got my Sandy at 2970 (270 * 11) with a 1.4 vCore, with the RAM on a 9/10 divider (243MHz) and running with 3.5 vDIMM with 1.5-2-2-5 timings.

i managed to get it fully stable @ 3 GHz (1.6v). the new optys arent OCing like the old ones, which is unfortunate.

I have Opty Venus 148 and it runs 2700Mhz default voltage 1.4. It rocks, and it's older Opty (E4 revision). You might be right...
I didn't tried 2800 with default voltage, since i'm limited with the memory DDR400. Even though i could use bigger divider, i won't to lose great memory bandwidth for additional 100Mhz. I'm getting 2x1Gb DDR500 and we will see how much this baby can be pushed with default voltage. The goal is to run the highest possible clock with default voltage. The temperature is great (running stock sink used for cooling dual cores)...
