basically you and a number of people (or bots) take turns firing tanks at each other, sorta of like this:

you advance to rounds, make money and buy weapons/shields.

scorched earth is amazing! I also like "truck dismount" and regular old "dismount" basically you push a guy down the stairs in one and use a truck in the other to harm a guy as much as possible! fun and free.

I also am playing Battlefield 2 right now, greatest game ever! I also play AMerica's army a lot, its huge online game and its totally free! Call of duty 2 is awesome as well.

You can either create a dos boot disk, I am not too sure on how exactly, or get a dos emulator and make sure you configure your soundcard manually. Sometimes if you are trying to run it through the dos prompt in windows, windows doesn't like you accessing certain files and programs etc, so you might have to do the dos boot disk thing and run it that way.

I just reinstalled it.....make sure you have a pc speaker hooked up. i am pretty sure now that this game was pre soundcard days coz I have the wonderful mono pc speaker sound......JOY!!!
