Opty 148 Venus, interesting overclock result

Thread Starter
Mobo: Abit AN832x
2x1 GB OCZ DDR400 3.0-3-3-3-8
Opteron Venus 148 2.2 1Mb cache

I'm running with default voltage 1.4@2700 Mhz using AMD dual core stock sink.
FSB 245, HTT4x, Multiplier 11x

System stable

Right now i'm limited with the memory. Running divider 333@392Mhz. On Monday I'm getting 2x1Gb DDR500 and we will see is this baby going to run 2800Mhz default voltage, and if so we will see how far i can push it.

Idle 37C, Loads up to 50C.

My goal is to get the highest possible overclock with default voltage.
I'm not sure about the details of this processor, but i know that it is E4 revision.

run a bigger divider, that'll solve your memory problem. also fill in your "system specs" under user CP.
