What the hell is going on??

Thread Starter
So yesterday all my games are running fine, this morn I try to OC my GPU a little [ive only ever oc'd my cpu] I moved about 10-15 thingies up, I get HUGE lag, like unplayable status so then i go back to stock and i still get huge lag. Turning down the settings doesn't do anything and my idle temps at 7-8 degrees higher than normal, whats going on?

reseat the heatsink, also you may have tempered the HS metal becuase of super high temps and it wont work as good
high temps dont go away fast eiother

what are you temps anyway? and is it stock cooling?

i say let the thing sit OFF for a few hours, and then turn it back on

Your GPU probably started to throttle. Let it cool off for a while and try it again. If the card is old try taking off the heatsink, clean it off, and replace the thermal compound with AS5.
