What should I lower first, core or memory?
download ati tool to check artifacts, run it on stock clocks to see what kinda temp you see.
then up the core 10 mhz each time, and check the articfacts with ati tool. if you don't see articfacts (15 mins at least), then up the core clock until you see articfacts. once you found the max clock, then put back to default. now find the max memory clock, just like how you did with finding max core clock.
now the clocks should be fine becoz if it is running too hot, then there is articfacts. if there is no articfacts, then it means both the clock and temp are fine. if this didn't work out, then you know your hardwares aren't good enough to keep a good OC. may be PSU not enough power, bad air flow, something like that.
