Next Budget Gaming Build Coming Up!

Ok, so since the first build went so well I am going to rebuild pretty much the same PC for Ebay again. These sell like hot cakes clearly, because the first buyer fell through, so I relisted and sold it within a day again. SO here we go again >

Already purchased a few components and am looking right now for the best bargains.

Here are the first 4, purchased parts.

1. Case & PSU > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

2. Same CPU > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

3. Hard Drive > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Now I am looking for some cheap, but branded RAM.
Maybe a 785G or another ASRock N68C-S UCC.
A cheap OEM optical Drive.
Finally an 8 series Nvidia card, or lower 4 series ATI card. I will probably go for the 8 series, since they sell cheaper, have better price/performance ratio and seem to be more appealing to people who have no clue what a true gaming system is

I will put my 1055t Stock HSF on to start with and see what temps are like, and then buy an aftermarket if I need one.

I will keep you updated.

Why not a 4850.
Has an extreme price/performance ratio. Also, about that CPU,nice one for its money, but tbh it is a bad dual core...it wont be able to handle all the new games...even at lower settings.

You must have linked the wrong one, then. The one you linked is an old dual core. Actually, just read about the unlocking thing. Wow, never heard of one of those unlocking to a quad before. It it works, that's great.

Yep, and this seller guarantees unlock or money back. Last 1 I used was @ 1.35v with 4 cores 3Ghz.

4850 might have great price/performance, but thats not what im trying to do, im trying to do the cheapest quad core PC, that I can call a gaming pc. Since people with £250-300 to spend on a "gaming" pc, dont really know what they are buying, its cheap I know, but a guys gotta make money. For this build I have now bought a brand new XFX 8500GT 512MB Fanless Graphics card.

Cost - £20
