Makes me feel like the board is protected better as well.

I haven't tried getting it into the ram yet, looking under the heatspreaders I can see that some gap between the HS & the ICs, with the thermal adhesive in between. Would still work fine frozen, but not sure if the dragon skin in there packed around & partly on the ICs would make them run hotter when using them when they're not frozen. I'll have to get some good memory to try it on & just keep a set for running cold.
Don't know if i want to experiment on the hypers I have now, they've been good to me...
"Makes me feel like the board is protected better as well." I agree, that is what I liked about it.
Yeah I don't know if it would increase heat or not. I was thinking you could dip the RAM and cut away the excess when it's dry but IDK.

i applied this stuff to my UD7 and TPower i45 this weekend.
i mixed it all up in a zip lock baggie but i put to much in of part A, so when putting part B there was WAY to much...

so, since i had to much i just did both boards.
i mixed in a baggie and cut one corner and applied.
went on pretty good, i used wooden skewer's to stir and push it all around.

Looks like someone is going to be having some fun. I also noticed that someone has been on a spending spree recently

ok, on my UD7 i used electrical tape around the socket to keep my shakie hands from spilling some to close the the socket and hold down. the under side shot is the TPower... a little thick on it i would say, but better safe then sorry. where the drip's are is the holes, so those will be trimmed.
here are some updated pics.

I catch a thread here and there with something that you buy. Seems we are interested in some of the same stuff. I saw pots, Hyper X (of which I bought a pair as well), that nice mb tray thing and probably more.

But that dragon skin stuff looks easy to apply. I might have to order some of that. I'm also liking that room. It just looks like such a good spot to bench. I'm using one of those fold out tables and the cheap monitor I bought died .

ya i saw your post on your Bench... i just moved in here a few weeks ago and one of the selling points for me was that room... plus my office is 2 rooms away from that room in the basement, far away from everyone... NoGuru and Battlecryawesome say it first hand....

when i went to K|ngp|n's shop and bought my F1 Gemini and saw his setup's i saw vaseline and neoprene... no eraser. this dragon skin is a lot better then the vaseline, cleaner and easier to remove as seen by the post that NoGuru made...

i will be running the UD7 this weekend on dice, i hope to get some celly's and p4's going soon but need to get my other parts for the pot from Vince.... or wait till my Duniek pot gets here...
