comes off, but not without a sufficient battle. AKA it will take forever and probably still be very noticeable.
I would stick to the tried and true vaseline under heat sinks, and eraser around socket + neoprene on top.
and kow, isnt there insulation on top of the dragon skin? or is more neoprene needed to keep the temps of the board high enough? or was it because cold from the CPU socket spread around and super chilled the skin next to it?
There was plenty of insulation on top of the dragon skin, but with ln2 temps its WAY different than the temps of dice. Its not a simple bit of condensation like dice, things get frozen solid on the board even if you use tons of layers of frost king. It seems as though the cold just spread across the board and froze the dragon skin solid then cracked.
