Has anyone here programmed using Turing before? I believe it is a Canada-based thing, but I would still like to know if anyone here knows

I don't really like it. Either that or I'm just not programmingly-inclined. But I am willing to learn. Its pretty good, we had assignments where we made a mock program of MS Paint, with stamps and stuff too. You can make lots of things with it. One of my classmates made an IP chat program, etc.

imo, turing is SO stupid becuase no1 uses it anymore, if you want to start somewhere, take a Grade11 Comp. Science class for Java OR learn java yourself.

reminds me of Freshman year of college, they made us program in Scheme. ~150 of the 300 students passed the class, it was a weed out class. This might be the same sort of deal, just stick through it. The programming mindset is always the same, just the languages change. Even Scheme has helped me out...
