Not sure about the others, but I am using some X-2300's that I bought ~4-5 years ago and they are still going strong. They have a decent amount of bass and sound good for what they are. I'd recommend them any day of the week.

They are, they start to distort at max volume, and the bass doesn't sound very good when it gets that loud, but honestly, you have to have some hearing problems if you're maxing them out all the time ha ha. I can't stand to be in the same room as them if they are any higher than roughly 3/4 volume, which is where I found the max volume to be without distortion.

What kind of contest is this

Acoustic Energy Aego M by a mile.

It's a non-contest. I don't even know why you're even asking this question tbh. A decent value bookshelf 2.1 in the UK vs. crappy Logitechs..oh come on man. That said, there is better out there tbh.

I'm sure the UK peeps can help you out more. Just don't buy Logitech whatever you do.

^

That.

£5 cheaper from Super-Fi too, I'd buy from Super-Fi over OCuK any day of the week and if you live near one of the Super-Fi shops you can go in and listen to the speakers before you buy them.

EDIT: -

Even cheaper at Peter Tyson - £130.

Gah, I should learn to read - I thought they were £145 at OCuK

EDIT #2:-

They are £125 at HiFix with free delivery so unless you get free shipping from OCuK then it works out cheaper (OCuK is about £7-8 if I recall correctly)
