more than 30 seconds of choppyness? that sucks

Does having dynamic lights and shadows on affect the choppyness? (I know they greatly affect FPS)

Oh yeah, you'll definately be able to run it full on. I can run the game with my current rig and everything full on and 1280x1024 resolution and never drop below 40fps.

Of course before the new nvidia drivers I wasn't able to put Lighting (regular Lighting, not Dynamic) on High. But now I can.

Before I added my second 7900, I could run it beautifully on the highest settings. Now I rip thru it like freakin Metal Gear 1

I guess you're enjoying your 7900GT SLI then? I ordered my first card (XFX 520MHz clock) today and hope to have it's counterpart within the month.

Cheers.

Oh goodness. I feel like I am driving a Porsche. I have never owned a computer like this. It has taken me about 3 months of buying, selling, and saving, but I am finally content. You would not believe the wrath. I wish someone would come out with a new game that was even more demanding that Oblivion or FEAR.........The new CryTek game....looking forward to that one

Yea you should deffinitly be running everything maxed, the only reason to get a 7900GTX/GT is if you had a huge 30" monitor and ran it at 1600x1200

My 6800GS maxs out in BF2, and you should definitly have no problem with your new 7900GT, itll blow your mind away

Got the 7900GTX today Runs BF2 on all high, with AA x4 @ 1200x1000 no problem at all. 40fps minimum, 75+ max.

Im still getting REALLY 'weak' benchies. 68k on aquamark, was hoping for more like 80-85k+

I cant oc it much either. it articacts in ATi Tool above 670 core. (hits 66c max, 42c idle.
