JacKz5o, is it possible for you to ship me the ram from newegg since they don't ship to Canada? (and they're much cheaper!)

Why the change in PSU? The advantage of the Enermax is the modular system, I understand that. However, the Antec TPII is more powerfull:

Enermax: 400W, dual 12V rails 20A each, combined max 30A.
Antec: 480W, dual12V rails, 18A each, comined 33A.

Although the seperate 12V rails on the Enermax have more amps, combines they can deliver less power than the Antec.

Oh well, I am just nitpicking here a bit.. they're both probably solid PSU's, and the modular system is nice.

if your going intel i would suggest the Pentium D 920 instead of the 630 the presslers overclock well and it would be dual core.

The reason why i changed the PSU to the enermax one is because i plan to enable Si on my mobo in the future, and that PSU is SLi capable. (see link)

In that case, spend about 10 -15 extra CAD and get a SLI certified PSU (see list):
http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_build.html

Some options:
Antec True Power 2.0 550W ATX12V V2.0 SLI 120MM Fan Power Supply $108.82
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ufacture=ANTEC

Enermax All In One EG565P-VE Fma ATX12V V2.0 20/24PIN 535W 2FAN SLI Ready Power Supply $105.80
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...acture=ENERMAX

Any PSU <500W is not SLI certified, and it might be better to just go for a certified one.

How does your friend get computer parts through customs? Nafta (north american free trade agreement) specifically targets electronics entering Canada or the US for tariffs and taxes.

Not trying to complain, I'm curious. When I had a computer business, I used to import stuff direct from hong kong. Customs were a real *****.

You should get a Pentium D 920 Presler ($223), and will overclock to 4.0 easily

He's on a tight budget. The 920 is >$100 CAD more expensive than the 630. Also, he decided for an AMD system after discussing several options.

I know the 920 is a better chip, but a budget is a budget. The 920 would take more than 1/3 out of his budget of ~$900 CAD (it's currently $334CAD). Even after the anticipated price drop on April 23 or so, it likely is still a bid out of reach for this kind of budget.
