Its like other X800 XLs out there, not sure if it uses reference cooling or not. If not its probably a simple cooling system since X800 XLs don't produce much heat.

It has 16pipes like an X800XT or X850XT but its 110nm core doesn't allow for the same core speeds. Stock 400mhz core and 500mhz memory, the core can't overclock much past 450mhz, some closer to 430, the memory can go up to 600mhz if your lucky and some cooling.

An X800 GTO is a simmilar cheaper card, it has only 12 pipes (chance at unlocking to 16) and same clock speeds. If the card is using an X800xt/x850xt core it can overclock upwards of 550mhz core, but some of them are just X800 XLs with 4 pipes disabled (core can't OC).

Card is about as mid range as they get, I'm sure 1280x1024 can be had in most games using the card, at high settings. Wouldn't want to pay more then $200 for it, but theres not much other choices on AGP.

Thats got the best cooling system out of any X800 XL I've seen, using something simmilar to the X800 Pro type cooler, except it even cools the memory passively with that back plate.

Thats good since the memory is the only thing your gonna be overclocking really, of course you can push the core as far as it'll go but it'll only get to 450-460mhz if your lucky.

As for price, for an AGP X800 XL $180 is a great price, would make a good card to go with your P4, just don't be expecting 4xAA and 16xAF in all the latest games.
