You can bump up your Vcore a little too, temperature dependent of course. I think with your BT you should have not problems getting up to 1.55volts. I don't think that your processor is what is holding you back though. Answer those two questions and we can take it from there.
Ok i bumped up the vcore to 1.55 but it's still showing 1.440 in cpu-z.
And here's my model and revision for the memory
XMS3502v1.3
060328-1
I havn't touched the vdimm yet it's at auto still, i just now changed the settings to 2-3-2-6 and it's limit is set at 200

Just have to ask, so please do not be offended. Are you saving the bios settings you changed before you exit the bios? I could understand there being a difference like 1.53 when you have it set to 1.55 in the bios, but nothing that extreme. Gonna check on your memory to see what sort of chips it has on it, look for a edit.

Yep, i saved it, i'll reboot and try it again tho

Just checked and the vcore was at 1.55 in bios and it still shows at 1.44 in cpu-z and i set the vdimm to 2.75

well from what i can c u have possibly one of the top machines on this forum lol :] so i wouldnt go throwing anything away to get cheaper stuff lol what u have is fine if ure upgrading anything it should be the motherboard to a dfi expert series .im sure u will hit 3.0ghz with a little higher vcore than 1.44v miby give it 1.55v like u said and u should get 2.9ghz if u can solve ure problem but 1.44v for 2.81 ghz that is insane i need 1.55v / 1.6v to get 2.5ghz stable a 500mhz increase overstock .Also u should get killer clocks from theose 79oogts they are amazing and your memory seems great to so just find what works best miby slacken the timings on the memory to as far as 3.3.3.6 and up the vdim to miby 1v or to higher than what it is at just know and u should be able to run a better divider :] . DONT UPGRADE ANYTHING APRT FROM THE MOBO to a better overclocking one ok :]

The Expert is DFI's current top of the line as is the Asus you have. Both are top notch OCers.

From what I can tell you have Infineon BE-5 chips on that memory so it will run best around 2.9 volts and pushing them a little farther might be conceivable. Have you ran Memtest86+ to see if your memory is error free?

Sidenote: I know you have one of the best PSU's out there, but if you having that kind of voltage difference you might want to look into it as maybe being a factor. I would run a overclock you know is stable and stress it using OCCT. OCCT records your voltage while it is running the test, and if you have more then a 5% swing on the +12v rail you have an issue. Then again, maybe there is a known bug with your bios and there is a bios revision or some sort of information out there.

You might actually need more power. That 550W unit is probably just enough to power that monster system. I'd probably look at something with at least 600 or 700 watts.
