Yeah.

That may be why. GPU's run hotter than a CPU and putting them in the same loop means you're asking your loop to do a lot more cooling. I'm about to fit water blocks to my SLI, but using a second separate RX360 in a GPU only loop.

*sigh* oh well, at least the gtx 570 runs a lot cooler than last time. That's something to be happy abt XD

Hopefully this'll qualify:

GHz - 4.41
Voltage - 1.416
HT - off
Batch - I'll have to check when I redo thermal, no box.
CPU-z - in the sig.

Looking at everyone else, I'm getting voltage envy. I can't go even a step lower...

Can anyone confirm if these specs would make a good OC? I know it's on paper and every chip is different, but I'd like to know if that's a good place to start from.

I found this somewhere on the interwebs. May have been OCN may have not been.

I just would like to know if the voltages specified there for CPU and all are safe. And if you think they could be lowered please tell me.

I would like as painless an OC process as possible.

Dunno if the Asus boards are quite the same as Gigabyte, and i'm just speaking from my personal Gigabyte experience...

On the Gigabyte UD3R I didn't need cpu clock skew or ioh clock skew till after 4.2

QPI/Dram likes to be high for fast ram or tight settings. If it's just 1600MHz or less and loose timings u may be able to use less than 1.35v

Up until > 4.2GHz I only needed to change vcore, qpi/vtt, and dram volts, but did manually enter standard volts instead of auto for CPU PLL, PCIE, QPI PLL, IOH Core, ICH I/O, and ICH Core.

As you say not all mobos or cpu's are the same.

i did the same Exact thing.
i put the f7g bios on the x58a-ud3r and it works better.
hahah took me a while to figure it out
here are my settings
21x200= 4200
1.3875 - vcore
1.33 QPI/VTT
1.65 Dram

i did get my pc to post with 4000uncore and 2000 ram but i needed 1.55 qpi. and it wasnt stable.
