That "hellish process" is part of overclocking. Not much I can do about that.
Your 23MHz may not affect things much, but it might need a notch more vcore or something. Best to do the whole "hellish process" if you want to be confident of relative stability.
If this is just to get into a list other than the 100% stability club, you could just bump up the bclk, get your validation, and put it back where you have it for everyday use ....
I'm already at 1.28v in BIOS. I don't feel like dropping it lower as it seems stable where it is and temps didn't get over 64*. Idle is 30*.
If anything I'm just going to bump to 175 and leave it. Do one hour of OCCT: Linpack and be done with it.
I read somewhere that Linpack for 8 minutes is equal to the stress of like 40 hours of P95. So I did one hour of OCCT = 300 hours of P95 + One hour of Blend P95 + another hour of IBT = like 601 hours of stability checking?
