Please update my CPU-Z validation. I realised with my first post I did not run a stress program at the same time I did the validation. Here is the new one with P95 running with the correct voltage. I also corrected my cooling to stock as I have not installed the H70 yet.

Thanks JP!

jptheron, you do not have to run a stress test for this club, nor does your overclock have to be stable. This is just a validation club. I changed your clock in the list, but only because it showed an extra MHz. Whether it is stable, or the voltage is idle or stress is your choice. The highest clocks here are just glimpses of what a chip can briefly do. A lot at the 4.2GHz and less are probably stable, but do not have to be to join this club.

The H50/H70 club have lots of advice on getting the best out of your H70, which may help.

Can't actually accept that, because it doesn't conform to the rules on the first page.... the 'png isn't the validation we want. It's the page it should link to we want, with yr name on it.

Get cpuz running at the same time as your overclock.
Click "validate" at the bottom of cpuz
When the next form appears, put your ocn user name (tuffarts) in that space where your computer name is.
Click on "submit"
When the web page with your cpuz validation comes up, copy the internet address for it from the address bar at the top of the page and post it here.

It will look like - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=somenumber.

We have the same system.. but I am not sure on your system stability...

I explain:
many people test the CPU with prime95 and the GPU(s) with various benchmarks.

If I do so, everything seems stable.

It's not.
Why?
Because rarely people stress test BOTH at the same time.

To do so, try this:
run prime95, then from task manager lower it's priority to LOW.
Then run (for example) "unigine tropics benchmark".

And see for how long your system is stable.
You will notice it will crash sooner or later.

The reason:
Stressing both CPU and GPU at the same time make the case/motherboard temps to get higher and higher.
At higher temps the CPU is not stable anymore.

I have noticed that for a 100% stable system (our system I mean) 4025ghz is the best speed. Rock stable with any combined test.

Let me know your thoughts...

Probably too hot for everyday use - I cut mine back to 4320MHz for summer because two or three hot days could bring a crash. The truth is that anything above 4200 is hard to keep stable with normal ambient temperature margins. Easier if you live in a cold place.

I spent illogical amount of money on water cooling to gain 100 to 200MHz......

This doesn't make much sense. If you overclock your CPU, no need to test the GPU.
If you run various tests on the CPU and it's stable your not going to crash in a graphic intensive game unless you OC'ed the GPU and it's unstable.

Now say you did want to stress with both CPU and GPU, a lot of benchmarks will do this like the new 3D Mark 11.

I explain:
many people test the CPU with prime95 and the GPU(s) with various benchmarks.

Batch number is 3017A748... a wonderful CPU if I can say.

Correction:
RAM is not stable at 7-7-7-24 CR1... (bfbc2 crashed after 30 minutes)
I set it back to 8-8-8-24 CR1
