EasyTune 5 ( Weird Problem )

Thread Starter
Ok so check this out. EasyTune 5 won't work when the system is set to 11x133. The Overclocking button is grey out from the window of EasyTune. However when you set the system to 8.5x200. The button is no longer grey out and I can overclock the system with it. ***? But by then my system is runing so high that I would be force to up the voltage. Any idea why is doing that on a 7NNXP anyone?

Any tip or info is appreaciate it.

Im unfamiliar with easytune... But is your bios locked form overclocking? If its not, do all overclocking through the bios, its more stable and you can typically push everything further that way.

It is my understanding that as you raise the HTT on AMD cpu's, you have to lower the multi on them aswell.... anyways higher HTT (FSB) is better for system performance.

Don't use easy tune...that software has so many bugs and glitches it isn't even worth installing. I had it on my GF's gigabyte mobo for a day and sent it the way of the dinosaurs.

As pbasil1 says, the most stable way of OC'ing is to OC it through the bios.

Ok sound good then, I was using it for temperature reasons but I guess I have MBM5 install now and had figure how to use it with this mobo.

One questions I just booted to windows using this setting.

7.5x210 Vcore. 1.6 Temp holding at 42 with MBM5 and 45 with EasyTune. At 7x217 Frequency at 444Mhz the system won't boot. I was force to reset my bios. Should I continue going up from 210 and maybe drop my Multipliyer to 7 or keep it at 7.5 and up the FSB while keeping my voltage at 1.6?

Cool thanks for the ClockGen info I will check it out. I though it didn't support my Motherboard but I guess it dose.
yes, i would reccomend clockgen or try oc'ing in the bios. they are the two favoured options

easy tune 5 is only really useful for monitoring fan speeds, temps and voltages. i dont use it for anything else as it makes my pc crash if i use it to oc

EasyTune 5 isnt the best for oc'ing but is awesome for monitoring temps and fan speeds.

IC, Well, I just had my nasty crash yesterday when I had the following settings.
Mult: 7.5x
FSB: 214 (Loaded into Windows and Froze) = Crash Files corrupted etc..
Vcore: 1.6v

So far pretty stable on the following settings.
Mult: 8.5x
FSB: 200
Vcore: 1.5v
Speed: 1.7Ghz

I also try the following that worked @ 210 FSB but didn't test it before I crash badly @ 214 FSB.

I have a 7NNXP in my 2nd rig with easytune installed nut i never use easytune to overclocke just use settings in 7NNXP bios it has everything u well need just press ctrl+F1 to enter advanced options, only thing i use for was to help monitor temps and or voltages and used it to raise and lower my ram voltage besides that nothing bios for everything.

bios is much better easytune and clockgen would just lock up outa no where and restart comp. Maybe u should rasie your ram voltage a little to see fi u can get more outa it. I could manage a stable 240fsb on my 7NNXP.
