X1900XTX OC tools

Thread Starter
Hello everybody (Doctor Nic, Simpsons),

I have a HIS X1900XTX running at the full OC settings in CCC. I also have ATI Tray tools on the PC too. Can I push the card higher using ATI tools, or is it best to stick to CCC.

It is running happily at full OC settings through CCC, abd fans come on very rarely, which makes me think I might be able to get more from it.

In the ATI OC thread, it mentions Omega drivers for the card, would these be an option, and if so, anyone have any opinions on, should I do it or not.

Thanks, and excuse me if its a stupid question.

Thanks guys.

Almost certainly you can push the card further with ATITool, but it can be quite tricky now as you have to adjust the voltages as well as the speed. If you try it, make sure you disable all the ATI services as these will clash with ATITool (as you want to overclock the 3D mode and not the 2D mode).

The Omega Drivers won't let you overclock any further, they just come bundled with ATI Tray Tools to do the overclocking with.

Personally, I just use the Overdrive on my card.
