ASUS 7900GTX
OC'ed to
Core: 670 Mhz
Mem: 850Mhz
Maximum temp reached 51C in Oblivion, with High textures at 1600x1200, running 35fps
In GRAW, 50C at 1600x1200 Everything highest, 16 anisotropy
Never crashed so far, except on excit
Have to say this is the lowest temp operating GPU Ive ever seen, especially at those frequencies
P.S. for major performance tweaking go to www.tweakguides.com (helped me a lot in configuring the system)

Not sure what has changed thats allowed me to clock higher and stay stable over the past few days, all i have done is added 2 case fans blowing air into my case, and began running my system with the case panel off. But im not complaining because its made one hell of a difference!

Hi Shana,

Sorry I didn't respond earlier as I did not see the thread. You can always pm a staff and send me a pm that way.

I removed the cooling system and applied AS5+. Other than that I didn't do anything but it's the luck of the draw with processors.

Glad to see that you have a better overclock now

so why do they advertise the memory clock at 1630 and stuff.. is it that you multiply the number by 2 since its the 512 and not 256? i just got this card.. and was kinda confused at the fact that it was slower than my 7800gt but played a whole hell of a lot better.

EVGA 7900 GTX
725/900
cooling: water
idle: 29
load: 40

690/890
cooling: stock
idle: 45
load: 71

there is no real performance different when gaming, so it's not worth it to spend the extra money on water block. just use the stock cooling is good enough IMO.
