Residents concerned about the public nature of Google Street View images might want to consider moving house. This is the latest suggestion to come from loose-lipped Google boss, Eric Schmidt.
In August he also suggested teens could change their names when they reached adulthood to avoid earlier indiscretions, and his latest comments come just as the company is seeking to reassure the public that it takes the matter of personal privacy very seriously.
In an interview with CNN, Schmidt spoke of the public reaction to the camera-mounted vehicles which photograph houses around the world. â€œStreet View, we drive exactly once . . . So, you can just move, right?â€
