Reapplication of AS5 and HSF yields drastic drops in load temps!

I decided that something was wrong because I continueally had load tempatures of 50-54C.

So today I carefully cleaned off the CPU and heatsink bases, it took me about 30 minutes untill every trace of paste was gone. Then I applied the AS5, I went for the smallest amount possible. So minute in fact, that it took me well over ten minutes to spread out what is equivilent in volume to half a BB perfectly over the CPU IHS. Took a little dabb and rubbed it into the base of the heatsink for extra protection. Maybe I went overboard, but these temps are amazing! 38.5C average load. I am amazed. Such a change from what I was getting before.

Edit: This is also at a vCore of 1.55 (I know, I know, it is the highest my MB lets me go!)

Well, I had AS5 on there before. Just too much I think (know). Anyway. I am happy that temps are not a problem anymore.
