In my experience, using Steam Mover doesn't make the game any more unstable thumb.gif
And I really do use this a lot!

As of May 2013, I believe steam has a function where you can install a game to a library located on any drive; however, this seems helpful to move games back and forth at will.

I run Beta Steam, and it's had install to another drive for a while smile.gif
But like you say, with Steam Mover we can at will thumb.gif
