I mean i understand that it is an Intel proc and Intel CPUs run hotter than AMD ones generally and that it is and I7 which run hot, but damn 68*C. that just seems a bit excessive

Awesome project. Looking forward to seeing how this ends up looking !

It's folding, all CPU cores and GPU's running 100%

lol OK I believe you.. and yeah your CPU is hot, but if its folding I can understand..

Awesome green tubing I bought.. made by Koolance, 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD

AC Ryan black rad grill 2x120

These little mounts for the fan doors must go!

Removed...

I grinded a little metal off each of the 4 corners for a washer + nut to fit for the rad grill.

Bottom

Fan grill installed

120mm Yate loon fan, removing molex connector

You cant tell, but I chopped the molex off and removed the pins from the connector to sleeve it.

Sleeving and heatshrink slid on..

Shrunk!

2 fans done.

3 pin fan extension

Sleeved

Radiator + fans installed

Another look

From the front

With the lights off and fans at 100%!

Still need to make the blank PCI plate.. may do that today, not sure. Gotta ride my bike to the bank (lol, no car) and deposit more $ so I can buy some green leds + thin U channel.. and anything else I feel necessary.

Also, I need more opinions. I bought 5 fans total from p-pcs. 3 120mm green led fans + 2 140mm green led fans. 2 120s for the rad, 1 for the case, 1 140 for the PSU, and 1 140 for the case. Turns out the 140mm doesnt fit in the PSU, I tried. I did some research and apparently the OCZ power supply has a 135mm fan, which is a weird size.

Should I just pain the stock black psu fan blades green and call it good, or figure something else out? I was hoping to have a green led fan in the PSU, but looks like it may not be possible.. unless another PSU top will fit on mine, which is unlikely I think.

Starting to look ****ing awesome, and hey, even if it doesnt work you have a case already set up for water cooling ready lol. But i do believe this will work.

MY estimate is you will have it done by Christmas/New Years.

No kidding.. $$$$. Its not cheap, thats for sure.

Once I finish this, I will try to sell it here and on ebay, and once its sold its onto another project.. not sure what. It may not even be console related.

Did you read what I posted about the issues with the PSU fan replacement? What should I do?

You could try to manually install a LED, or if not i would just leave it as the PSU is really not what i would be looking at
