Haha I did that so much...I wrote little programs in advance to do the stuff I didn't remember, like the quadratic forumula and stuff, I did a couple variants to find each variable, it was so fun, and people were like "Whoa, how'd you do that?"

i remember back in the day i had my tri color casio-something grapher sbout the same as a 8ti-81. it was cool cause another kid had one and we played tetris alday with the ir port. it was also very easy to program in your own programs. i made some for area and volume finders and fractions and a kool one i made for finding ohms in a system. i could even use it to do hydro and aero dynamic eqautions
but 300 bucks i alot of change for a calcuator. does it hand in your papers too?

You should have asked me, I still have my Ti-89 and never use it. Have they changed anything to it or does it still do the same thing. I remember getting mine for $150 USD 5 years ago

I can't tell you how much getting a good calculator and getting used to it will help you in college. With that said, I suggest you get a good one now and stick with it forever. I strongly (emphasize that even more) suggest that you get a Reverse Polish calculator instead of an Algebraic if you plan on entering into any math or science related fields. Reverse Polish is simply superior once you get accustomed to it. It's faster and easier to do computations. (lengthy ones are a breeze with Reverse Polish)

Calculators...in college.....haha I wish. They do not allow calulators at all in any math classes at UF, maybe once you get to things that get to be a little impossible. I quit in Calc 2 mainlycause my teacher sucked and I realy didnt need it
