MjrTom your opinion is correct. Intel and AMD have been working on making proccess types alot smaller and making power consumption go way down. Both have already predicted a switch back to passive cooling by middle 2007 or so. But that was near 6 months ago so who knows where that idea is going now. But I do hope that Intel can get back on their feet pretty soon with Conroe so AMD will have to fire back and become even greater and have both companies lead to progressive CPU making and bennifiting us all.

Both companys have great stuff.
What I'd like to see is fair based comparisons like in the Conroe article where Intel would not let anyone see what the did to the OS services. Did they have something to hide.
It will be a while beforeth likes of us can get any Conroe chips, once they fill the OEM manufactures needs like Dell it will be a while before the public can get single units. Then it will be interesting to see what they can truely do!
On the mobile issue in the POST, GREAT stuff, but every design has it's up and downs, so if only Pi was the benchmark it wins so one needs to consider the overall and not just one aspect.
