yea i have 4890 aswell but i dont want crossfire,think im gona wait and see how the 6950 goes in benchmarks and prices when they get released,6850 is tempting tho for the price and the improved tessalation seems a better option than the 58xx's,also the 6 series shud get better with drivers over the next few months aswell

yea and 4890 outperforms 6850 so thatd be the stupidest option...ever. thatd be like selling your old 1960's mustang for a newer one. sure it looks nicer and is newer, but its not as good under the engine.

Why's your PSU not enough?

It should be fine for a couple 6850's...

I used to run 4890 Crossfire it was fast!!

Then I moved to 5770 Crosfire as I wanted DX11, Performance was the EXACT same and FASTER in quite a few cases!!

6850 CF >> 5770/4890 CF >> 6850 >> 5770 > 4890

i was not able to power 4890s in CF on my Corsair TX650w, but it only has 2 6+2pci-e plugs and 2 adapters that had 2x molex-to-1x 6pin pci-e... so that could have been the problem and im also powering 3HDDs, alot of lighting and a waterpump and some other crap so that could have been why, but ive heard this PSu can easily peak 800w
