Did you do a deep reset... ie. unplug, remove battery, toggle the PS on/off switch several times to discharge static electricty? I've had Asus BIOS that would not clear without doing the above and having to wait over night. After a 30+ minute wait with no results I got fed up and left it overnight and it cleared, go figure!
I will try that, as the battery has been out all day. I also fixed sys stats.

I received the "new" mobo from the retailer and it seems to start up normally, ie the problems I was having earlier (cpu fan not spooling up, hdd light not responding or coming on) but it still will not boot up. I have replaced the cpu with a different proc and tested the vid cards in another system but the screen still just goes to standby. When I unplug/plug in the DVI cable it clicks on but then 5-7 seconds later tranfers to stand by. Im stumped.
