1.Take the opty 170 rather than FX60 (for me FX 57 is out of the question, it's a single core man!)
2.It seems that the A8N32 sli mobo does bring some performance benefits from running 2x16 PCIe lines as opposed to 2x8PCIe lines.
Like skank said, there is no future for the single cores. The older games don't benefit from the dualcore, but I suppose thet since you're buying that kind of rig you won't be limited to last year's games. I'm going for the opty 170 because it if far cheaper than the fx60, and the performance isn't much lower. When you'll get the hang of it you may want to try to OC, and that opty will do the job. Even on stock the opty 170 will handle anything you throw at him for a while.
